AICE Open House

Bay High School recently hosted its second AICE Open House on February 10, welcoming 8th grade students and their families for an engaging evening filled with exploration, insight, and excitement about the future. The event gave families an inside look at the AICE (Advanced International Certificate of Education) program, showcasing its academic opportunities and the many ways it prepares students for success.

Throughout the evening, families had the opportunity to connect with teachers, counselors, and current AICE students who brought the program to life. Conversations highlighted the dynamic structure of AICE coursework, the balance between academic challenge and student involvement, and the valuable skills students gain — including critical thinking, time management, and strong analytical abilities that extend far beyond the classroom.

Current AICE students shared personal experiences, offering honest and inspiring perspectives that helped younger students imagine their own high school journeys. Teachers and counselors also provided clarity on topics such as workload, scheduling, and college preparation, ensuring families left feeling informed and confident.

Events like the AICE Open House play an important role in helping families make meaningful decisions about their students’ education.
