Happy Friday, Tornado Nation! 🌪️
This morning in Building 13, Lisa Deaton and her Learn & Serve students treated our incredible friends from Chautauqua Learn & Serve to homemade biscuits and gravy... the perfect way to start the day showing their appreciation! We are so thankful for this amazing group of staff and students who work so hard to help keep our campus clean and beautiful. Their dedication, kindness, and pride in our school never go unnoticed.
Bay High just LOVES these guys! ❤️🖤 #TornadoPride #LearnAndServe #BetterTogether #BetteratBay #Partnership

Huge THANK YOU to our sister school and favorite partnership, Chautauqua Learn and Serve Charter School, for showing Bay High staff so much love with Chick-fil-A breakfast on our PLC day! 🐔
On this rainy morning, you brought the sunshine (and the chicken). Our teachers are fueled, smiling, and ready to conquer the day... one biscuit at a time. We are SO grateful for this sweet gesture and even sweeter partnership we have! ❤️☀️

How it works:
- Beads will be distributed on February 4th to all 5th periods. Teachers can hand them out to 5th period that day or on the 6th.
- The game does not start until the morning of February 6th. You may only start with one set of beads.
- Each student and staff member starts the day with one beaded necklace. *Shoutout to Pam Wiggins and the Krewe of St. Andrews for the bead donation!
- Participants challenge one another to Rock, Paper, Scissors. This is SINGLE ELIMINATION.
- If you are wearing beads and are challenged, you must play. (As long as it's within the correct time frames.)
- The winner of each round collects the other participant’s bead(s). If they have multiple sets, winner takes all.
- Play will continue throughout the day. Participants collect as many beads as possible.
When students are allowed to play:
- Students may play during lunch and passing periods only. Tardies still count!
- Students may not play during class time unless the teacher gives permission.
- If a student is playing when told not to, teachers take the beads from the student... for themselves.
- No student who is out of dress code will be allowed to win.
At 3:00 pm students who think they have the most amount of beads can go to Ms. Todd's room (1204) to get their beads counted by an SGA member. Whoever has the most amount of beads per grade level will win a prize. (Juniors and Senior prize baskets will each include a set of prom tickets!)
We will also give a prize to the teacher/staff member with the most amount of beads.
Please remember to play fairly, keep beads secure, and be respectful when challenging others. If a student is disrespectful or does not listen to staff instructions for this game, they will not be eligible to win.
Our goal is to make this a fun and positive experience for everyone! :)

We are proud to announce that Catherine, Aiden, and Aaron have been selected as our No Ordinary Joe Scholarship nominees! This recognition speaks to their character, dedication, and outstanding achievements.
Being chosen for such a meaningful honor is truly something to be proud of. These students represent our school with integrity, commitment, and a genuine passion for making a difference.
Way to go—we are so proud of you! 👏
